Kerry names McCarthy, Behan to executive positions

BELOIT, WIS. — Stan McCarthy has been named chief executive designate for Kerry Group in Tralee, Ireland.
Mr. McCarthy will take over for Hugh Friel, who will be retiring as c.e.o. and director of Kerry Group on Dec. 31.
In addition, Gerry Behan has been named president and chief executive officer designate of Kerry Americas beginning on Jan. 1. He will lead Kerry’s regional ingredient business in Canada, the United States and Latin America.
Mr. McCarthy has been with Kerry Group since 1976. He first held positions in the finance department and the company headquarters in Ireland and has been Kerry Americas president since 1996.
Mr. Behan has been with the company since 1986 and has worked in finance and operations, currently serving as senior vice-president and chief operating officer for Kerry Americas.
