ST. LOUIS — Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. announced it will close its manufacturing facility in Billeria, Mass. The plant produces various oil-roasted and dry-roasted snack nuts for the store brand category.

The company decided to close the facility following a review by Ralcorp’s Bremner Food Group operating unit, which determined that the Billerica production should be moved to a snack nut manufacturing plant in Dothan, Ala.

Consolidating the plants is expected to improve the efficiency of the Bremner Food Group’s snack nut business, and the closing will happen in 2008, Ralcorp said.
