Solbar names new c.e.o.

ASHDOD, ISRAEL — Shaul Shelach has been named chief executive officer of Solbar Industries Ltd. He replaces Uri Eshel, who returned to the company during a period of reorganization.
"Following many years in senior management positions at one of the largest Israeli food companies, I joined Solbar convinced we are well-positioned to grow our core businesses and develop new ventures," Mr. Shelach said. "In the world of soy, Solbar has all the necessary elements, from excellent human resources and extensive know-how to proven production facilities to strengthen our position as a major player in the market."
Mr. Shelach has experience at Elite-Straus, a major Israeli food company, and at Unilever P.L.C.
