COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Sensibly Seasoned side dishes from Glory Foods have received approval to bear the American Heart Association’s heart-check mark.
Products with the heart-check mark must be low in cholesterol and saturated fats and limited in trans fats and sodium.
"Having the American Heart Association heart-check mark on the Sensibly Seasoned product line is a huge step for Glory Foods," said Theresa Potter, director of marketing. "This type of certification allows us to continue to share the good news with our consumers about healthier options while expanding our line of healthful products even further."
Glory Foods said all Sensibly Seasoned products fit into a heart-healthy diet lower in sodium, cholesterol, trans and saturated fat and rich in fruits, vegetables, high-fiber whole grains, low-fat dairy products, lean meat, poultry and fish.
