HERSHEY, PA. — The Hershey Co. on Monday said it will raise its wholesale prices by about 3% on one-third of its domestic candy line. Hershey said the move "will help offset increases in areas of the company’s input costs, including raw materials, fuel, utilities and transportation."
The price increase — effective immediately — covers the company’s standard bar, king-size bar, 6-pack and vending lines.
Hershey said during the four-week period ended Feb. 24, existing customers may order and take delivery of up to eight weeks of inventory at current prices.
