Munroe to global v.p. at Takasago Flavors

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. — Takasago International Corp. (USA) has named Mike Munroe global vice-president of Takasago Flavors.
Mr. Munroe has 18 years of experience in marketing, sales and category management, having worked at Quest International, which is now Givaudan.
"We are enthusiastic about Mike being a part of our global team," said Brian Buck, vice-president and general manager of Takasago’s flavor division. "It’s especially fortuitous as we look to leverage our acknowledged strength in aroma chemicals."
Mr. Munroe will be based in the United Kingdom and is responsible for growing Takasago’s global compound flavor business.
"The company’s strong science heritage, its leadership in chiral chemistry and its deep understanding of the sensoral complexities of the mouth create the idea environment to explore new product concepts," Mr. Munroe said.
