Wendy's names new interim c.m.o.

DUBLIN, OHIO — Wendy’s International, Inc. has named Paul Kershisnik interim chief marketing officer and promoted Bob Holtcamp from vice-president to senior vice-president of brand management.
"Paul, Bob and the marketing team are executing our important advertising transition to the ‘Waaaay Better’ campaign and they are implementing key elements of phase two of our strategic plan to re-ignite sales growth," said Kerrii Anderson, president and chief executive officer. "These appointments are another example of Wendy’s management depth and strength. Both are seasoned professionals with diverse experience with some of the world’s best-known consumer brands."
Mr. Kershisnik has been with Wendy’s since March 2007 when he joined as senior vice-president of marketing strategy and innovation. Prior to that, he worked as vice-president of new product innovation and R.&D. at Mrs. Fields Famous Brands in Salt Lake City.
Mr. Holtcamp has been with Wendy’s since 2000 and prior to that worked for Aurora Foods in St. Louis.
A national search for a permanent chief marketing officer is ongoing.
