TORONTO — Kellogg Canada announced it will open a new $97-million manufacturing facility in Ontario to produce Mini-Wheats cereal, its first new North American manufacturing plant in more than 20 years. The Government of Ontario said it will invest $9.7 million in support of the plant, a move the government hopes will keep Ontario competitive in the global economy and create jobs. "Ontario’s support and Belleville’s skilled workers were contributing factors in our decision to invest," said Francois Rouilly, president and chief executive officer, Kellogg Canada.
