NEW YORK — PeaceWorks Holdings has announced a new line of Kind Fruit + Nut Bars — Kind Plus. The new line features six flavors with enhanced nutrition.
"We’re thrilled to introduce this new line of products at a time when Kind is growing so rapidly," said Daniel Lubetzky, founder and chief executive officer of PeaceWorks. "What’s most exciting about our new flavors is the opportunity to help current and new fans of Kind snack even healthier by adding targeted supplements like antioxidants, omega-3, calcium, fiber and protein."
The new flavors include Kind Plus Calcium in a cranberry and almond flavor; Kind Plus Protein with almonds, walnuts and macadamia nuts; Kind Plus B-Concept with passion fruit and macadamia; Kind Plus Fiber in a strawberry nut delight flavor; Kind Plus Antioxidants in a mango macadamia flavor; and Kind Plus Omega-3 with almonds and cashews.
"These flavors are our first new products since launching the original line in 2004, and every single one of these bars has the potential to become a best-seller," said Rami Leshem, vice-president of sales for PeaceWorks. "Over the past few years, Kind has gained committed fans from all walks of life — from professional nutritionists to busy moms and dads — and we’re excited to help many more new customers snack healthier with this expansion of our exceptionally successful original line of bars."
The new line is expected to be in stores this summer, and all Kind bars are low in sodium, gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free and sulfur-free.
