Nellson Nutraceutical names interim c.e.o.

IRWINDALE, CALIF. — Nellson Nutraceutical, L.L.C. has named Allan Lutz as interim chief executive officer. In addition, the company has appointed Mr. Lutz, Scott Meader and Hugh Rovit as directors.
"Allan’s appointment as a director further strengthens the board’s experience in the food industry, and his operational experience and proven leadership ability make him an excellent choice to lead the company now," said Mr. Meader, chairman of the board of directors. "The demand for nutritional products continues to grow, and Allan’s insight and knowledge will be extremely valuable as we strengthen and expand Nellson’s market position."
Mr. Lutz is replacing Jeffrey B. Dias, who had been c.e.o. since January 2005. The search for a permanent c.e.o. is ongoing.
Mr. Lutz had previously worked for ConAgra and Nestle USA. Mr. Meader was previously president and c.e.o. of Milnot Holding Corp., and Mr. Rovit is currently c.e.o. of Sure Fit, Inc.
Nellson Nutraceutical produces nutritional products such as diet bars and powdered mixes.
