PHILADELPHIA — Tasty Baking Co. has named Paul D. Ridder senior vice-president and chief financial officer effective March 28. Mr. Ridder has been with the company since March 2007 in the position of vice-president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer.
Mr. Ridder is taking over for David S. Marberger, who is leaving the company to become senior vice-president, chief financial officer and head of strategy for Godiva Chocolatier, Inc.
"Paul’s appointment as c.f.o. is the culmination of a coordinated succession plan," said Charles P. Pizzi, president and chief executive officer. "Since joining the company in early 2007, Paul has worked closely with Dave. Paul’s vast experience in corporate finance makes him an excellent successor as c.f.o. Paul’s contributions to our team will be critical as we continue to build the foundation for the future."
Mr. Ridder was previously with Radnor Holdings Corp. and held numerous financial roles, including chief financial officer.
