ERLANGER, KY. — Wild Flavors, Inc. has acquired American Purpac Technologies, a subsidiary of Hendricks Holdings.
"Wild Flavors has experienced tremendous success in responding to our customers’ needs, and acquiring American Purpac Technologies will allow for continued leadership and innovation in our industry," said Kevin Gavin, chief operating officer.
Wild said consumers have placed high value on aseptic technology, and the company previously had developed a co-manufacturing partnership with A.P.T., and under the new agreement A.P.T. will become Wild Aseptics L.L.C.
"Before his untimely passing, Ken Hendricks was excited about the sale of his company to Wild because he knew of Wild’s reputation for putting people first and their impressive track record of business growth and community pride," said Jeff Stentz, president of Hendricks Holdings.
Wild said A.P.T.’s capabilities in aseptic processing and packaging will allow the company to provide the industry with the highest levels of quality and consistency in the development of finished products.
