COPENHAGEN — Danisco earlier this week inaugurated the Danisco Shanghai Center in Eastern China. The new center combines sales and application laboratories for Danisco as well as research facilities for Genencor, the company’s enzyme division.
"I’m extremely pleased that we have now consolidated Danisco’s expertise in Shanghai in one single spot," said Tom Knutzen, chief executive officer. "The center will serve as an important springboard for our company’s growth in China and the nearby region."
Danisco invested $5 million in the 60,000-square-foot center.
