Goltry named v.p. of food safety, inspection at A.M.I.

WASHINGTON — Scott Goltry has been named vice-president of food safety and inspection services for the American Meat Institute. Mr. Goltry comes to the trade association from Cargill Meat Solutions, where he was vice-president of technical services and food safety for the beef group.
Mr. Goltry will report to Jim Hodges, who was named executive vice-president of the A.M.I. Mr. Hodges will be responsible for the A.M.I.’s food safety initiatives, including research and education.
Mr. Hodges previously was president of the A.M.I.’s Foundation, the association’s research division. Dr. Randy Huffman was named president of the Foundation following Mr. Hodges’ promotion.
