LOUISVILLE, KY. – Papa John’s International, Inc. has signed development agreements to open 57 restaurants throughout Canada. The pizza company already operates 14 Papa John’s restaurants in western Canada.
Under the agreement, franchisee PJ Atlantic Franchising Ltd. will build 20 restaurants in Canadian provinces near the Atlantic Ocean and MJ Taylor Holding Company will build 10 in the province of Saskatchewan. Additionally, Bajco L.L.C. has agreed to build 15 restaurants in western Ontario, with PDR Associates Inc., committed to build an additional 12 units in eastern Ontario. Each franchise group has committed to opening one or more restaurants in 2008.
