Pizza Hut becomes Pasta Hut in new promotion

DALLAS — In conjunction with the launch of new Tuscani Pastas, Pizza Hut announced it will temporarily change the logo on its company headquarters in Dallas to "Pasta Hut." According to the company, the Pasta Hut logo will be on display for about a month.
The Tuscani Pastas come in two flavors: Creamy Chicken Alfredo and Meaty Marinara. Both flavors feature rotini pasta and a blend of sauce and cheese. Each 3-lb serving costs $11.99 and includes five fresh-baked breadsticks.
In line with the launch, the company began a national print and television advertising campaign on April 1 proclaiming "Pizza Hut is now Pasta Hut." In addition, the company unveiled a redesigned web site at www.newpastahut.com with the message "Pasta so good, we changed our name to Pasta Hut!"
