Campbell to launch V8 soups

LAS VEGAS – Campbell Soup Co. unveiled plans to launch V8 soups at the 2008 Food Marketing Institute Show going on in Las Vegas. The soup line will be available in the five flavors of golden butternut squash, garden broccoli, southwestern corn, sweet red pepper and tomato herb. Each bowl will provide a full serving of vegetables and will be low in fat and cholesterol.
The new pureed, ready-to-serve soups will begin to appear in supermarkets and mass merchandise stores nationwide between August and October. The suggested retail price for the 18.3-oz fresh-sealed boxes of soup is $2.99.
