Dunkin' Donuts continues to expand franchise efforts

CANTON, MASS. — Dunkin’ Donuts is expanding its franchise locations nationally and has announced that Grand Rapids, Mich., and Alabama are open for franchise sales.
The plans are to open about 70 new restaurants during the next several years in Grand Rapids and the surrounding counties of Kalamazoo, Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, Oceana, Newaygo, St. Joseph, Branch, Calhoun, Van Buren, Barry, Allegon, Ionia and Montcalm. Dunkin’ Donuts also recently announced plans to open more than 100 new restaurants in the Detroit, Flint and Lansing areas.
In Alabama the plans are to open 142 restaurants during the next several years in the markets of Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville as well as Pensacola, Fla.
These announcements follow other Dunkin’ Donuts franchise plans for North Carolina, Phoenix and Milwaukee.
