Mellace Family names Bagato to marketing post

CARLSBAD, CALIF. — Mellace Family Brands has named Tony Bagato to vice-president of marketing. Mr. Bagato will oversee marketing strategy for the company’s Snacktrition product line.

"Our collective goal is to give people delicious, healthy snacks that can be enjoyed throughout the day as part of a well-rounded daily diet. I look forward to helping people learn about the benefits of Snacktrition through creative and interactive sampling programs and national marketing efforts."
The product line consists of oven-roasted nuts and dried fruit snacks. The line includes Sea Salt Cashews with Fiber; Sea Salt Almonds with Calcium; Salt & Pepper Cashews with Fiber; Smoked Almonds with Calcium; and Fruit & Nut Mix with Fiber and Calcium.
Mr. Bagato was most recently managing director and chief executive officer of San Joaquin Valley Farms and has more than 20 years of experience developing and promoting brands in the domestic and international marketplace for growers of California almonds and pistachios.
