New Flavorseal Flavor Wraps spice and flavor transfer sheets allow for faster and more uniform applications of spices with less waste, according to CMS, Avon, Ohio.

Flavors and glazes may be applied without liquids. Images such as grill marks may be added without the use of grilling equipment. Uniform spice coverage reduces leakers, enhances eye appeal and helps maintain the integrity and safety of company brands, according to CMS.

Flavor Wraps offer three ways to add spices or flavors: dissolvable flavor sheets; cooking spice transfer sheets, which are dissolvable or non-dissolvable; and non-cooking spice transfer sheets, which are nondissolvable.

The dissolvable flavor sheets come in brown sugar glaze, rosemary rub, lemon pepper, Ragin’ Cajun, honey bourbon, jalapeno cheddar, BBQ, sweet chili garlic, spicy Szechuan and other proprietary blends. They are applied on line. The sheets dissolve after being vacuum sealed.

The cooking spice transfer sheets come in such flavors as paprika blend, caramel, pepper, Cajun, lemon pepper and other proprietary blends. They are ready to use without the need for mixing, blending or dispensing equipment. The sheets may add spices to boneless deli ham, roast beef or turkey. A grill mark sheet is available.

The non-cooking spice transfer sheets come in such flavors as pepper, sea salt, Cajun, Thai and other blends. They may be used with pepper bacon, ham, turkey or roast beef and also Cajun chicken or Santa Fe turkey.
