The new Sea Salt Grinder cut salt product is designed for use in gourmet seasoning blends and salt mills. The product from Cargill, Minneapolis, is 99.8% pure and a tightly screened cut of natural sea salt from the Pacific Ocean.

"We’re excited to offer our Sea Salt Grinder cut to food processors wishing to add gourmet seasoning blends or sea salt grinders to their product lines, or to refresh and reformulate their existing products," said Carlos Rodriguez, Cargill marketing manager.

The sea salt product, about the size of a peppercorn, may mix thoroughly with other seasoning ingredients. The ingredient contains no anticaking or free-flowing additives or conditioners.
