Brixey joins Alpha Baking Co.

CHICAGO — After more than 25 years with Kansas City-based Interstate Bakeries Corp., Rowdy Brixey, vice-president of engineering, has taken the newly titled position of vice-president of engineering at Alpha Baking Co., Chicago. Mr. Brixey will be working alongside Dave Granger, vice-president of operations, in an effort to continue upgrades and improve efficiencies and sophistication of the company’s facilities, including its newest acquisition of Natural Ovens of Oconomowoc.

"I'm excited about the future for I.B.C. and for myself," Mr. Brixey said. "I will surely miss seeing my many friends at I.B.C., but look forward to making new friends through Alpha Baking. The last three and a half years have been tough, but yet very educational. I’m sure we all look forward to seeing I.B.C. become a strong and stable company once again."
