Clean machines quicker

Ultrasonic cleaning equipment from Omegasonics, Simi Valley, Calif., now is available for the food industry. Wilbur Curtis, a manufacturer of commercial coffee and tea brewing machines, recently switched to using Ultrasonic. Whereas the company used to need three people to scrub a machine for 45 minutes to clean it, Ultrasonic is able to do it in 10 minutes, said Stephen Pratt, manufacturing engineer.
