FutureCeuticals, Comax Flavors to collaborate

MOMENCE, ILL. — A strategic collaboration announced Aug. 21 involves FutureCeuticals, Inc., a processor and developer of nutraceutical ingredients and technologies, and Comax Flavors, a manufacturer of liquid and dry flavorings and masking technologies. The collaboration will focus on food and beverage segments that are delivery vehicles for functional ingredients.
The two companies will display their first functional prototypes at booth No. 15015 at SupplySide West Oct. 23-24 in Las Vegas.
"Offering turn-key solutions that combine strong science as well as great taste will benefit food manufacturers as they can leverage prototypes based on consumer insight, nutritional trends and supporting science for product differentiation and speed to market," said Colleen Zammer, director of sales at FutureCeuticals, Momence.
Catherine Armstrong, vice-president of marketing at Comax Flavors, Melville, N.Y., said, "The joint benefits of FutureCeuticals and Comax working together will allow us to stay ahead of the curve in our approach to the functional food market."
