PHILADELPHIA — Ottens Flavors, an international flavor supplier to the food and beverage industries, has purchased a new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Philadelphia. According to Ottens, the facility will allow it to expand production of its SavoryPlus meat and savory flavors as well as increase encapsulation production capabilities.
"The goal of our company is to continue to find innovative ways to serve the growing demands of our clients," said Richard Robinson, chief executive officer of Ottens Flavors. "Our new facility will allow us to do just that, expanding our ability to bring the latest technologies to the flavor industry."
SavoryPlus flavors are used by technologists and chefs to manipulate intense and subtle notes of fresh cooked beef, pork, chicken and turkey. The flavors are available with a variety of flavor characteristics, including roasted, charbroiled and grilled.
