Smucker promotes within leadership team

ORRVILLE, OHIO — The J.M. Smucker Co. has announced various key executive promotions designed to mark the beginning of the integration of the Folgers business and continued success.
Timothy P. Smucker’s title has been changed to chairman of the board and co-chief executive officer from chairman and co-c.e.o., and Richard K. Smucker’s title has been changed to executive chairman and co-c.e.o. from president and co-c.e.o. Richard Smucker will continue in his role as president of the company.
Other promotions and changes include Vincent C. Byrd being promoted to president of the newly created coffee strategic business area. Previously, he was senior vice-president of consumer business. Steven Oakland was promoted to president of the consumer business, having most recently been president of the Smucker oils and baking SBA.
Mark Smucker has been promoted to president of the special markets SBA, and Paul Smucker Wagstaff has been promoted to president of Smucker oils and baking SBA. Earlier, he was vice-president of food service and beverage markets.
Barry Dunaway has been named senior vice-president of the new corporate and organization development office with combined responsibilities for mergers and acquisitions and human resources. He was previously vice-president of corporate development.
