Catelli Brothers introduces meatball, meatloaf mix

COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. — Catelli Brothers has introduced a meatball and meatloaf mix to its line of Catelli Italian Bistro premium, center-of-the-plate entrees that are ready to serve in minutes.

"The new mix has the same quality and old-world Italian style that our customers have come to expect from our Italian Bistro line," said Tony Catelli, president and chief executive officer. "Many people still enjoy making their own meatballs and meatloaf from scratch using an old family recipe, and we believe the new mix will be a real home run with those consumers."

The new products feature a blend of fresh ground beef, pork and veal and allow consumers to add their own fresh ingredients and seasoning.

The mix will be available at retail locations in both vacuum-sealed and modified-atmosphere packaging and will also be produced for the food service industry.

Other products in the Catelli Italian Bistro line include chicken marsala, chicken, parmigiana and chicken piccata.

Is that all that is in the mix-pork, veal and beef. My mother has a food allergy to corn and I didn't know if I could use this mixture for her.
