CitrusT is a new range of citrus essential oils that have lower levels of fungicides, herbicides and pesticides, according to Treatt USA, Lakeland, Fla.
Proprietary technologies used in processing allow CitrusT to reduce the amount of agricultural residues in the oils while retaining the flavor of the original oil. The agricultural residue content within the CitrusT oils is less than 0.5 parts per million for any individual agricultural residue and less than 2 ppm for total agricultural residues.
The CitrusT range includes lemon, orange, lime and expressed lime products. For more information, visit www.treatt.com.
