Hahn promoted to v.p. of finance at ConAgra

OMAHA — ConAgra Foods, Inc. has promoted Bill Hahn Jr. to vice-president of finance. In his new position he will be responsible for enterprise strategy, financial planning and analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Hahn joined ConAgra in 1993 in the corporate finance group, transitioning into corporate strategic development in 1996.
"This role is a natural transition for Bill, who has many years of experience in finance and strategy positions," said Andre Hawaux, executive vice-president and chief financial officer. "Most recently, Bill was vice-president, strategic analysis, identifying key issues and opportunities for our business. Prior to that, he led mergers and acquisitions for commercial products. In his new role, he will lead the company’s strategic planning process, as well as mergers and acquisitions, and focus on driving simplified enterprise planning and reporting capabilities."
Mr. Hahn received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska — Omaha.
