Clements joins executive team at Imperial Sugar

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS — Ralph Clements has joined the Imperial Sugar Co. as vice-president of engineering. In his new role, Mr. Clements will lead corporate environmental affairs, safety, engineering, new product development and market research.
Prior to joining Imperial Sugar, he was a consultant on manufacturing improvement processes. Earlier, he was general manufacturing superintendent at Monsanto Co. and vice-president of manufacturing and engineering with Phillips Fibers and Propex Fibers.
Mr. Clements received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Iowa State University and a master’s degree in business administration at Tulane University.
