ConAgra Lamb Weston, Unisur form partnership

KENNEWICK, WASH. — ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston and Unisur Alimentos Ltda., a frozen french fry and dehydrated potato processing company in Chile, have formed a new strategic partnership focused on Chile and other South American markets.
"Our partnership with Unisur supports Lamb Weston’s focus on international growth," said Jeff DeLapp, president of Lamb Weston. "Unisur is situated in one of the best potato growing areas in South America, and we believe their existing business model and people provide a solid foundation for further growth of the South American market."
As a part of the partnership, there will be an expansion of facilities located in the Region of the Lakes, Llanquihue, Chile.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
