Long John Silver's introduces lower calorie menu

LOUISVILLE, KY. — Long John Silver’s is introducing to its menu Freshside Grille options, which are lower fat and calorie foods designed for a balanced diet. Each of the new menu options has 10 grams of fat or less and zero grams trans fat.
"Our customers are increasingly looking for new, great-tasting lower fat and calorie menu choices," said Ben Butler, president of Long John Silver’s. "These new menu items have been extremely popular in our test markets, and we anticipate they will quickly become a favorite option of seafood lovers."
The Freshside Grille menu includes entrees such as shrimp scampi, grilled tilapia, and grilled Pacific salmon. The entree items range from 110 to 150 calories each. The new menu also includes side items such as vegetable medley, seasoned rice and corn on the cob.
