SEACAUCUS, N.J. — R.A.B. Food Group L.L.C. has changed its name to The Manischewitz Co.
Manischewitz, which was established as a small matzo bakery in Cincinnati in 1888, has completed a multi-million capital improvement program, upgrading and modernizing its Newark, N.J., production plant, the company said.
The modernization was led by Randall Copeland, who joined the company in April. Mr. Copeland’s background includes positions in management and food production operations at Campbell Soup Co.
"We are excited about the name change as it signals our move forward as a new organization yet it reinforces our heritage and core strength in Kosher and the power of the iconic Manischewitz brand," said Bruce Bossidy, president and chief executive officer.
Manischewitz is the nation’s largest matzo bakery and the largest processed Kosher food company in North America.
