HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — Zymes L.L.C. and Kaneka Nutrients L.P. will co-market and co-develop water-soluble Kaneka QH (Ubiquinol) using Zymes’ PTS technology, according to an exclusive agreement announced Nov. 3. The terms of the agreement call for the two companies to co-market the water-soluble liquid and powder formulations of PTS/Kaneka QH for use in food, beverages and dietary supplements in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Hasbrouck-based Zymes holds worldwide exclusive rights to the PTS technology from the National Research Council of Canada. The technology provides for reduced particle sizes, which allows for use in clear beverage applications.

Kaneka Nutrients markets Kaneka Q10 and Kaneka QH and has manufacturing, sales and marketing operations in Pasadena, Texas.
