Board promotes ADM executives to corporate officers

DECATUR, ILL. — Four Archer Daniels Midland Co. executives have been elected corporate officers by the company’s board of directors.
Kevin Hess has been elected vice-president of oilseeds production. He began with ADM in 1985 and has held a range of positions within the company’s Oilseeds Processing segment. Mr. Hess has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University in Ames.
Randall Kampfe has been elected vice-president of corn production. In the 34 years Mr. Kampfe has been at ADM, he has held operations management positions in Oilseeds Processing and Corn Processing. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an master’s degree in business administration.
Marc Sanner was elected vice-president and general auditor. Mr. Sanner has held various tax and accounting positions at the company, most recently as general auditor, since joining ADM in 1987. He holds two degrees — a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration — from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston. Mr. Sanner is a certified public accountant.
Stuart Funderburg was elected assistant secretary and assistant general counsel. Mr. Funderburg has been with the ADM law department since joining the company in 1998. He most recently was assistant general counsel. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and agronomy and a law degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign.
