DSM increases yeast extract capacity

DELFT, THE NETHERLANDS — DSM Food Specialties has expanded its production facility in Delft and increased capacity by 35% because of increased customer demand for yeast extracts.
"We have experienced strong and rapid growth in demand for our yeast extracts over recent years," said Fedde Sonnema, business unit director for Savoury Ingredients, DSM Food Specialties. "Increased demand for processed foods, reduced sodium levels and a move towards natural ingredients are all key drivers."
