OAKLAND, CALIF. — Numi Organic Tea is introducing a new line called Puerh.
All teas come from the same plant known as Camellia Sinensis, but Puerh is made from a variety that grows on wild, old tea trees known as "broad leaf tea," and these trees are primarily found in Southwestern China.
The new tea line is available in four flavors — Emperor’s Puerh, a black tea that is bold, rich and malty; Chocolate Puerh, a black tea that is velvety and vanilla flavored; Magnolia Puerh, a green tea with deep floral earthiness; and Mint Puerh, a green tea that is fresh, vibrant and smooth.
