Nestle begins research on nutrition needs of athletes

VEVEY, SWITZERLAND — Nestle is launching a research program to study the nutritional needs of athletes in different sports.

Nestle said the program will provide information to help support a personalized approach to sports nutrition with the hopes of this leading to more personalized sports nutrition products for athletes.

The announcement went along with the 5th International Nutrition Symposium on food and performance, which was held at the Nestle Research Center.
