Former Tate & Lyle executive to v.p. at PureCircle

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — PureCircle has named Jordi Ferre as vice-president and general manager of PureCircle USA, based in Florham Park. Mr. Ferre previously was sales and marketing vice-president for London-based Tate & Lyle P.L.C.’s Splenda sucralose division worldwide.
PureCircle develops, produces and markets Rebaudioside A, a zero-calorie sweetener extracted from the stevia plant.
Mr. Ferre will be responsible for leading the commercial development of Rebaudioside A in the United States. He received a master’s of business administration degree from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and has more than 20 years of experience in the global food and beverage industry.
