Old World introduces sausage, rotisserie seasonings

KANSAS CITY — Old World Spices & Seasonings, Inc. has introduced a line of gourmet rotisserie, sausage, meat and seafood seasonings that have been used throughout the Midwest.
The seasonings include Apple Hickory, Cajun, Chipotle, Hickory BBQ, Italian and Traditional Rotisserie, which are recommended for steak, beef kabobs, roasts, briskets, pork loins, chops and ribs, whole chickens, breasts and wings, turkey breasts, fish and shrimp. The Lemon Pepper flavor is recommended for whole chickens, breasts, wings, chops and loins, fish and vegetables. Tequila Lime seasoning is ideal for whole chickens, breasts, wings, chops, loins, fish, salmon and turkey breasts.
"Our full line of seasonings allows department managers to cycle in new flavors, keeping their deli promotions exciting and standing out from the competition," said David Maples, deli and meat specialist for Old World Spices. "Each seasoning comes in a 10-lb bag-in-a-box with a shaker bottle for application. This helps to greatly cut cost and reduce waste from the traditional food service jars that have to be thrown away with each 2 lbs of seasoning. Suggested usage is one tablespoon of seasoning measured for each pound of meat, whether for rotisserie or fresh protein application."
