Madhavan, O'Shea to new posts at Campbell

CAMDEN, N.J. — Ashok Madhavan, formerly assistant treasurer since 2004, has been promoted to vice-president — treasurer at Campbell Soup Co. He succeeds William O’Shea, who has been named vice-president — finance and strategy, North America Soup, Sauces and Beverages.
Mr. Madhavan will be responsible for leading and directing treasury activities, including corporate financial strategy, capital structure, cash management, risk management, credit operations, benefit plan investments and insurance. He also will manage Campbell’s relationships with lending institutions and rating agencies.
Prior to joining Campbell in 2004, Mr. Madhavan was director of financial and strategic analysis at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Earlier, he held a variety of corporate treasury roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, PepsiCo, Inc., and Atlantic Richfield Corp.
Mr. O’Shea joined Campbell in 1996 as controller of U.S. Soup. In 1998, he was promoted to vice-president — finance and controller of U.S. Grocery. He subsequently served as Campbell’s treasurer for 8 years. Prior to joining Campbell he held a variety of finance positions at Scott Paper Co.
