Bell launches sodium-reduction technology

NORTHBROOK, ILL. — Bell Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. has made ReduxSo, a sodium-reduction technology, available to the processed foods industry. ReduxSo, a line of flavor systems designed to mimic the sensation sodium chloride delivers, may reduce sodium content by up to 50%. The flavor systems are designed for use in meats, snacks, condiments and soups.
