Weight Watchers adds 13 products to retail line

NEW YORK – Weight Watchers International, Inc. has added 13 products to its retail line. The products, which are portion- and calorie-controlled, extend the company’s reach into the sweet baked goods, frozen novelty and cheese categories.
The baked goods items include a chocolate brownie, banana nut muffin, peanut butter cookie and petite bagel. Added to the frozen novelty line are an ice cream candy bar, giant mint ice cream cone, giant mint ice cream sandwich, cookies and cream two-pack cups, and peanut butter two-pack cups. Three of the four new cheeses are natural, sliced and reduced fat, and include medium cheddar, pepper jack and Swiss. The fourth cheese is a reduced-fat pepper jack.
