Officers elected at National Restaurant Association

WASHINGTON — Thirteen industry leaders recently were elected to the board of directors at the National Restaurant Association.

The newly elected voting directors installed included: Cheryl A. Bachelder, chief executive officer and president, AFC Enterprises, Inc., Atlanta; Victor Lim, president and owner, McDonald’s/LWD Inc., Honolulu; Bob McAdam, senior vice-president of government and community affairs, Darden Restaurants, Inc., Orlando, Fla.; Justin Persons, owner, The Double Musky Inn, Girdwood, Alaska; Frank Puleo, owner, Catering by Framboise, Staten Island, N.Y. (representing the International Caterers Association); Billy Sewell, president, Platinum Corral, L.L.C., Jacksonville, Fla.; David Stockman, vice-president of operations, Lawry’s Restaurants, Inc., Pasadena, Calif.; and Bob Wong, owner/operators, Kowloon Restaurant, Saugus, Mass.

In addition, the newly elected voting directors to be installed in January 2010 are: John Campbell, general manager, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc., La Jolla, Calif.; Kevin Davies, founder/operating partner, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Wilmington, Del.; Ivan Matsunaga, president, Madi Ty, Inc., Carol Stream, Ill.; Michael Osborn, president/owner, Pie ‘N Burger International, Pasadena, Calif.; and Wes Stouder, president and c.e.o., Penguin Point Systems, Inc., Warsaw, Ind.
