MIAMI — Burger King is introducing BK Fresh Apple Fries to grocery stores this fall.
"Our goal in developing BK Fresh Apple Fries was to create a menu item that satisfied parents’ demands for nutrition and convenience and kids’ appetites for great-tasting food," said John Schaufelberger, senior vice-president of global product marketing and innovation. "With more than 29 million servings sold since its launch last year, we knew we had a winner with both parents and kids alike. The popularity of this clever product is now opening up new channels for our business and providing customers with a menu favorite in the places they shop most."
The exact serving sizes and price points have not been confirmed yet, but a single serving will be available for about $1, and a larger package with multiple servings will be available for $4 to $5.
BK Fresh Apple Fries have been offered in restaurants nationwide for about a year.
