Frito-Lay and Jack Link's form partnership

PLANO, TEXAS — Frito-Lay North America, a division of PepsiCo, Inc., and Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, Minong, Wis., have entered into an agreement in which Frito-Lay will sell and distribute a new line of meat snacks under the Matador by Jack Link’s brand. Products sold under the Matador brand will include meat stick and jerky products aimed at the "young adult" demographic, according to Frito-Lay.
"The Jack Link’s brand continues to drive growth in meat snacks, and the new line of Matador products and partnership with Frito-Lay will take that growth even further," said Troy Link, president of Jack Link’s Beef Jerky.
Frito-Lay North America recently ended its 10-year partnership distributing meat snack products manufactured by the Oberto Sausage Co., Kent, Wash.
