Symrise develops sugarless version of Evoglass flavors

TETERBORO, N.J. — Symrise has developed a sugarless version of its Evoglass encapsulated flavors, the company’s brand of glass-type matrix extrusions, said Donna Rosa, category director, Symrise Flavor & Nutrition North America.
Sugarless Evoglass is stable to humidity and resists color bleed in tablets.
"In hard candy processing, Evoglass can withstand processing requirements, ensuring that the particle stay intact and maintain their visual appeal," Ms. Rosa said.
A new, needle-shaped Evoglass for tea bags also is available. The needle-shaped form is similar to tea bags.
