Mitchell Kanter to director of Egg Nutrition Center

PARK RIDGE, ILL. — Mitchell M. Kanter has been named executive director of the Egg Nutrition Center.
"Dr. Kanter has been promoting the science of health and nutrition for more than 20 years," said Joanne Ivy, president and chief executive officer of the American Egg Board. "He has a track record of building top-performing, functional research teams and a reputation for technical acumen, the ability to articulate emerging trends and to think technically but speak simply and clearly."
Mr. Kanter will be responsible for leading efforts to develop and implement strategies as well as financial management, oversight of the nutrition research and health professional outreach programs, and Web site content.
Mr. Kanter was previously with Mitch Kanter Health & Nutrition Insights and spent time with Cargill and General Mills, Inc. before that.
