Yoplait to debut Frozen Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies

MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills, Inc. next month will introduce Yoplait Frozen Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies, a combination of yogurt and real frozen fruit that may be mixed with a cup of milk.

Available in three flavors — Triple Berry, strawberry banana and strawberry mango pineapple — each freezer package contains two 8-oz servings with a full serving of fruit as well as real Yoplait yogurt pieces with live and active cultures.

"A nutritious smoothie can be hard to find and even harder to make," said Kevin Sobieski, marketing associate for Yoplait. "With 110 calories per serving and a simple ‘Just add milk and blend’ prep, Yoplait Frozen Fruit and Yogurt Smoothies take out the worry and the work. You get a fast, delicious smoothie you’ll feel great about drinking."

The product has a suggested retail price of $3.29.
