KANSAS CITY — CII Laboratory Services is opening a new wholly owned subsidiary laboratory in Saskatoon, Sask.

The new laboratory is Canadian Prairies Analytical Laboratory (C.P.A.L.), a Canadian company that operates primarily in the main growing region of Canada. It will provide Canada with the same type and level of services as CII Lab Services, its U.S.-based parent company.

The lab will be fully operational before the end of 2009, and C.P.A.L. hopes to provide the grain industry with rapid turnaround times and lab services in grain, milling and baking.
